Overview:

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA, is hiring a Full-Time, Rotating Shift, Food Service Worker (Cashier/Line Server).

Full-time, Rotating Shifts, working both shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., every other weekend, and rotating major holidays.

(Up to $1,000 Sign-on Bonus for qualified candidates))

Job Responsibilities:

• Support food services team by delivering nutritious meals and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Prepare and assemble food according to dietary guidelines, safety, and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, wash dishes, work as a cashier, and meet utility needs.
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld.
• Contribute to delivering food to patients in various aspects of service.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent / Experience in lieu of degree/diploma accepted.
• Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification (as required by local Health Department).
• Previous Customer Service Experience (Preferred).
