Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital - Food Service Worker

Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, VA is seeking to hire a Food Service Worker (Flexi, as needed).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to operate basic food service equipment
• Familiar with sanitation, food preparation, and handling techniques
• Minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly population (for PACE specific incumbents)

Responsibilities:

• Prepping food and beverages
• Dishwashing
• Cashier and server duties
• Cleaning and sanitizing service areas and equipment
• Following departmental procedures for recipes, menus, and safe food handling

Candidates should be able to interact professionally with residents, participants, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
