Job summary

Powers Health is seeking a full-time Hospitality and Nutrition Services team member at the Munster location. The role involves patient and cafeteria service, dish room duties, and food handling in accordance with safety standards.

Expect days/evenings shifts with a standard 80-hour pay period and FTE of 1. Prerequisites include 1–2 years of food service experience; prior hospital or cafeteria work is desirable.

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Under general supervision and according to established procedures, performs routine tasks associated with Hospitality and Nutrition Services, including patient service or cafeteria service and dish room duties. Normally assigned to a specific service area, but may be required to assist in other capacities due to variations in work load and staffing. Responsible for handling food in accordance with the departmental and regulatory agency procedures and standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Food Service related work history of 1–2 years required.


• Prior experience in food service work desirable
