Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (Master’s) degree in nutrition from an accredited program; Master’s required for new grads starting Jan 2024.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed with the State of Indiana.
• Two to three years of progressively more responsible experience.
• Handles emergencies and diffuses potential problems.
• Requires knowledge of computer applications.
• Manages multiple priorities in a stressful environment.
• May require travel within the Health Care System; valid driver's license and insurance may be required.

As the Manager of Clinical Nutrition, you will manage all aspects of our patient care services, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. You’ll lead a talented team and provide memorable dining experiences for patients,visitors, and staff.

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Under the direction and supervision of the Director, Hospitality and Nutrition Services, directs and manages the activities of a staff of assigned personnel engaged in the provision of clinical nutrition services and/or food service to patients at assigned facilities. Ensures the nutritional adequacy of patient menus and that all activities adhere to policies, practices, and standards set forth by regulatory and licensing agencies and the hospital.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor’s (Master’s) degree from an accredited institution with a major in food and nutrition, in conjunction with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education approved program. Master’s Degree required for new graduates beginning January 2024.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed with the State of Indiana.
• Two to three years of progressively more responsible experience.
• Handles emergency or crisis situations. Diffuses potential problems.
• Requires knowledge of computer applications.
• Handles multiple priorities in a stressful environment.
• Makes decisions and recommendations to other health professionals.
• Employees may be shared and travel within the Health Care System. If applicable, must provide proof of current driver’s license and current auto insurance.
