Job summary

Community Hospital in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Food Service Aide to assemble, prepare and restock meals for patients, staff and visitors. You will work in a full-time day-shift schedule with a focus on food safety and efficient service.

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Under supervision and in accordance with established procedures and standards assembles, prepares and restocks food items for patient staff and visitor meal service. Performs all duties in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with accepted food safety and sanitation standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Required four-year experience in food preparation and/or volume feeding operations preferably in a health care setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Any Culinary Arts training is an asset.
• Demonstrates analytical abilities.
