Job summary

src is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker at our Dallas hospital location to provide high-quality meals and service to patients, families, staff and visitors.

You will follow food safety standards, stock and rotate supplies using FIFO, assist with cleaning duties, and support a calm, patient-centered dining environment. Shift details include Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30, alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Food service experience, preferably hospital setting.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.
• Texas Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to patients, families, staff and customers.
• Follow food sanitation and safety procedures.
• Complete daily, weekend and holiday cleaning.
• Stock food products using FIFO.
• Handle grocery storage with correct locations, FIFO, timeliness; remove damaged products.
• Clean equipment, warewash, floors, walls per procedures.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provides a high quality of service to patients, families, staff and customers in the preparation and service of meals.
• Utilizes correct food sanitation and food safety.
• Completes daily, weekend and holiday cleaning.
• Stocks food products using FIFO.
• Completes grocery storage following correct locations, FIFO, timeliness, removing dented or damaged product.
• Completes cleaning of equipment, ware washing, floors, walls according to the correct procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Food Service experience preferably in a hospital setting preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills and experience with customers and patients.
• Must have the State of Texas Food Handlers certification within 60 days of hire.
