Job summary

Eastern Petroleum Corporation's Penny's Kitchen division in North Carolina seeks a Food Service Trainer to train, coach, and develop all food service staff across EP Mart locations, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and service standards.

You will lead hands-on instruction in food preparation, safety, sanitation, and customer service, monitoring performance and reinforcing company policies to maintain a high-performing operation in our stores. This is a full-time role in the Rocky Mount area.

Responsibilities

• Train all new Penny's Kitchen employees, including cooks, prep staff, and cashiers
• Provide hands-on instruction in food preparation, cooking procedures, portion control, and product presentation
• Teach and reinforce food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance
• Conduct in-store training sessions, follow-up coaching, and performance checks
• Assist with inventory rotation, waste control, and proper storage practices
