Job summary

Circle K in West Richland, WA is seeking a part-time Foodservice Trainer to lead in-store food execution and staff development. You will train associates on production, replenishment, ordering, and customer service, while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and planograms.

Responsibilities include conducting food sampling, training on new Foodservice programs, and collaborating with BUQAS personnel. HS diploma and Food Manager Certification preferred; bilingual English/French a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods retail and/or Foodservice.
• Experience in training, leadership, team building.
• Strong communication skills in English; French skills in Quebec are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Food Category expert in store.
• Ensures all food operational execution is followed to maximize sales and reduce waste.
• Train, teach and coach store associates on Food execution, production, replenishment, ordering, organization, sanitization and customer service.
• Be the go-to person in store for employees with questions connected to food products and services.
• Plan and execute food sampling for employees and customers.
• Conduct and lead in-store training on all new Foodservice programs.
• Follow up with refresher training activities for store employees as needed.
• Ensure foodservice areas are stocked and food rotated using FIFO.
• Food items are displayed using current Planogram.
• Order or assist in ordering food products to lower Out Of Stocks and shrink.
• Monitor shrink while improving sales to maximize foodservice profit.
• Collaborate with BUQAS training personnel to deliver training programs.
• Food safety practices and procedures.
• Conduct needs analysis and provide recommended actions based on BUQAS visits.
• Operate within budgeted expectations.
