Qualifications

• One year experience in institutional food service.
• Florida Food Manager Certification required, or acquire within 90 day probationary period.
• Education and Experience may be substituted for each other on a year-for-year basis as deemed applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and serve clients three meals per day and/or snack lunch; monitor serving by inmates.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness procedures are followed; clean utensils, equipment and preparation areas.
• Follow prescribed menu plan; monitor special dietary requirements.
• Advise supervisor on supplies needed and train kitchen line personnel if needed.
• Maintain professional conduct and communication; clock in/out per policy.
• Attend all mandatory training and communicate in English.
