Job summary

Price Chopper in Lenox, MA is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee the store's Food Service operation, including the Food Court, and ensure that budgeted financial objectives and product standards are met.

You will supervise department staff, hire and train personnel, schedule shifts, and deliver fast, friendly, and efficient service in accordance with CHOPS and 5S guidelines.

This role also focuses on maintaining sanitation compliance and proper merchandising per corporate programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day department operations to include: supervision of department staff; scheduling and staffing to satisfy business needs; adherence to safety/sanitation laws and corporate policies.
• Hire, train, and develop department staff; document performance issues and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure associates provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service and follow CHOPS and 5S standards.
• Monitor payroll, budgeted sales, gross profit, CTO, shrink, and inventory levels to meet financial targets.
• Merchandise department products per corporate planograms; maintain stock levels and correct signings per policy.
