Job summary

Turkey Hill Minit Markets in Ottsville, PA is seeking a high-energy, team-focused leader to assist the Store Manager in directing the location’s food operation. You will guide fellow team members on food safety, quality, and presentation to ensure guests receive top-quality food quickly and pleasantly.

Responsibilities include managing stock, costs and waste, maintaining food safety standards, and training staff.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 6 months retail or food experience.
• Serv Safe certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
• Manage food stock levels, costs, waste, preparation, presentation, and food safety requirements.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the food service area and equipment.
• Meet company goals for food sales (pizza, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, etc.).
• Provide training, feedback, coaching and direction to team members on food prep and safety.
• Maintain relationships with vendors on food safety, temperatures and waste processes.
• Maintain proper stock levels and rotation for sandwich, pizza, chili, condiments and pastry cases.
• Process guest transactions efficiently to minimize wait time.
• Support Store Manager and other team members as needed.
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
