Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare and portion food per recipes and nutrition requirements.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Lift, bend, push, kneel, stand and move as required during shifts.
