Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a willingness to learn. Prior institutional food service is preferred; the role requires standing for long periods and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen staff during prep and service.
• Serve meals according to schedule and procedures.
• Use utensils and equipment to prepare and portion food.
• Train other food service workers.

• Stand for extended periods during shifts.
