Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a jail/correctional facility. You will manage food prep, serve meals on schedule, and ensure portions meet nutritional requirements.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work on site. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to food safety. Prior institutional food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or GED and being at least 18 years old.
• Preferred experience in institutional food service or large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and portion to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Perform other duties as required by the department.
