Job summary

Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking an experienced Food Services Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily foodservice operations and staff. You will coordinate scheduling, training, and quality control to ensure timely delivery of meals and high service standards.

The role requires leadership in menu development, adherence to safety and sanitation policies, and collaboration with management to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree preferred for advancement

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily foodservice operations and staff.
• Coordinate and schedule staff to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Maintain quality, safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards across shifts.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; provide feedback and discipline as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for patients, staff, and guests in Foodservices.
• Develop department policies and procedures and implement approved changes.
• Complete required in-services and ensure timelines are met.
• Perform opening/closing duties as needed.
