• High School Diploma or GED required; must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in institutional food service preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and manage inmate labor.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen equipment to prepare and portion food per recipes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand and move around the kitchen during extended shifts.
