Health & Human Services Commission in Denton State Supported Living Center is seeking a Food Service Manager I to supervise meal preparation, dining services, and staff. This full-time, nonexempt position requires ensuring sanitation, safety, and HACCP compliance while delivering quality service to residents.

You will train new kitchen staff, oversee food quantities, and manage daily operations on day shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role with food service staff is preferred.
• Experience in food service work is preferred.
• Graduation from high school or GED; HACCP certification preferred or required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the preparation and serving of meals.
• Ensure dining, service and food prep areas meet sanitation and safety rules.
• Train or assist in training new kitchen staff.
• Oversee staff during shifts and manage ordering and portion controls.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP and safety regulations.
