The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year in food service, with the ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for long periods. Open weekday/weekend availability is required, 12 PM - 8 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year or more of experience in a food service role; institutional or prior experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise inmate labor in food service according to standards.
• Handle production and sanitation paperwork as required.
• Ensure cleaning and maintenance of food service areas and equipment.
• Follow institution requirements in preparation and serving meals.
• Supervise housekeeping and safety practices.
• Store food and supplies per instructions.
• Contribute to high-volume food production for large groups.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
