Aramark seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of food production and retail programs at Elizabethport, NJ. You will supervise staff, manage resources, and ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.

You will coordinate with the director, plan menus, monitor costs, and drive customer service excellence while maintaining standards and policies across multiple departments. This role requires strong leadership and operational oversight.

• Ability to write letters, summaries and reports in prescribed format.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsabilités

• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers and co-workers.
• Is responsive to customer needs.
• Assists in budget preparation and development of short- and long-term financial and operational plans.
• Directs and coordinates resources of the Food Service Department to provide service for customers, employees and patients.
• Oversees food production area and personnel with cost control measures.
• Monitors unit performance via customer satisfaction systems and financial reports.
• Recommends or initiates corrective action.
• Maintains product and service quality standards and sanitation.
• Adapts activities to the needs of the patient/resident population.
• Maintains a proactive human resource function for staff motivation, training and benefits administration.
• Supervises all food production staff and coordinates schedules for coverage and sanitation.
• Plans menus and related activities with other staff.
• Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchases supplies.
• Inspects food and preparation to maintain quality and safety standards.
