Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to manage inmate labor and kitchen staff inside a correctional facility in Nebraska. The role involves preparing and serving meals according to menus, training staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Must be available to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Prior institutional food service experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED required, 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• Strong understanding of general food handling safety regulations.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly; strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service shifts.
• Prepare and serve a variety of food items following recipes and menus.
• Use kitchen equipment and utensils to cook and portion meals meeting nutritional standards.
• Train other food service workers and maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure adherence to department procedures and meal schedules.
• Report to Food Service Director and work onsite inside a jail/correctional facility.
