Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of foods according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure proper storage and sanitation of all food.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and policies.
• Operate kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare and portion meals.
• Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
• Train other food service staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen area.
