Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a jail/correctional facility. The role involves preparing and serving a variety of food items following menus and recipes, using a range of utensils and machines.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work on-site. Candidates should be passionate about food service, understand food handling regulations, and be eager to learn, with a team-oriented and adaptable attitude.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food according to planned meal schedules and procedures.
• Operate kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals meeting nutritional requirements.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for employees and inmates.
• Perform other duties as needed by the facility.
