Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to manage inmate labor and crew in a correctional facility kitchen, preparing and serving meals per menus and recipes.

The role reports to a Food Service Director and is on-site inside a jail. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma/GED and may have prior institutional food service or restaurant experience; a strong team player mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or GED, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
• We prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and portion meals to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
