Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of meals following approved menus and use kitchen equipment to meet nutritional requirements.

The role reports to a Food Service Director and requires on-site work within the jail/correctional facility. Ideal candidates are passionate about food, knowledgeable in food handling regulations, eager to learn, and able to work as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, age 18+.
• Preference for prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
• Experience working in a correctional or controlled environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen staff during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to schedules and procedures.
• Operate kitchen utensils/equipment and portion meals per recipes and nutritional guidelines.
• Train other food service workers.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff and inmates.
• Physical requirements include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Other duties as needed by the facility.
