Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen operations inside a jail/correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of foods, follow menus, and use kitchen equipment to meet nutritional requirements.

Reporting to a Food Service Director, this on-site role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and commitment to food safety. High school diploma or GED and 18+ are required; institutional food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service.
• Serve food according to planned meal schedules and procedures.
• Use utensils and equipment to cook and portion food per recipes and nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
