Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and staff in a correctional kitchen. You will prepare and serve meals, follow menus and recipes, and supervise food service workers to ensure quality and safety.

This role reports to a Food Service Director and is based onsite inside a jail facility. The ideal candidate has a passion for food service, understands food handling regulations, and thrives in a team environment while adapting to change.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be 18+ years old.
• Prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
• Must be able to work 6:00am - 3:00pm; includes some weekends/holidays.
• Experience with food handling regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use utensils/equipment to cook food and serve portions meeting nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for employees/inmates.
