Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of foods, following menus and recipes, and use a range of kitchen equipment.

The role reports to a Food Service Director and requires onsite work in a jail/correctional environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and service, with teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to learning.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or GED and that you are at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food and portion according to recipes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
