Job summary

Trinity Services Group in Colorado Springs is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff in a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve meals, follow menus, and use commercial equipment to produce items that meet dietary requirements.

The role reports to the Food Service Director, works on site, and requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 18 years old; prior institutional food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or GED, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff during food prep and service.
• Serve food according to planned meal schedules and procedures.
• Use utensils/equipment to cook food and portion meals to meet dietary needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
