Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to manage inmate labor and kitchen staff inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve diverse items following recipes and menus, using appropriate utensils and equipment to meet nutritional needs.

Report to a Food Service Director and work on-site in a jail environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, understands food-handling regulations, and can adapt quickly while working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18+ years of age.
• Preferred experience in institutional food service or restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen equipment to prepare food and portion according to menus.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a safe, healthy work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand, lift, bend and move as part of a typical kitchen shift.
