Job summary

YMCA of the Rockies is seeking a Food Service Worker at Estes Park Center, Estes Park, CO. The role rotates through a variety of dining duties, delivering positive guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Seasonal hours require flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with tasks ranging from meal prep to dining room sanitation. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary areas, operating kitchen equipment, stocking service lines, and assisting guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Keep service lines stocked with food and supplies.
• Clean dining tables and wash dishes.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors; clean bathrooms.
• Stand for eight hours on concrete floors; lift up to 35 pounds.
• Check and sell meal guest tickets; operate cash register.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Food Service Worker is responsible for providing guests with a positive dining experience. Employees rotate daily through a variety of specific duties as described below.

Essential Job Functions / Requirements

• Assist with meal preparation.
• Keep service lines clean and fully stocked with food and supplies (plates, cups, etc.)
• Clean dining tables
• Wash dishes
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
• Clean bathrooms
• Able to stand for eight hours on concrete floors
• Lift 35 pounds up to 36" off the ground
• Able to understand instructions in English

Other Functions / Requirements

• Check and sell meal guest tickets at the "check stand"
• Operate cash register and balance cash box
• All other duties as assigned
