Position Overview: The Cafeteria Site Supervisor provides leadership within the food service department, focusing on fostering a positive attitude, teamwork, and communication among staff. The supervisor oversees daily operations at the assigned site and assists the food services manager with long-range planning for the district's food services. Working under the manager's guidance, the supervisor must demonstrate flexibility and ensure the responsible, efficient, and effective operation of their site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership at the cafeteria site and communicate with the food service manager about operational improvements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and utilize current computer hardware and software for data management.
• Communicate effectively with staff and district personnel, and respond promptly to cafeteria emergencies.
• Assist in generating statistics for free and reduced meals eligibility, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations regarding menus and meal patterns.
• Count daily receipts, prepare financial reports, and manage daily sales and financial data using POS systems and management software.
• Order supplies, verify shipments, and report equipment maintenance needs.
• Schedule and coordinate staff absences, prepare and serve meals, and oversee sanitation and cleaning in accordance with health codes.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and faculty, fostering an enjoyable environment.

Job Requirements:
