Fruitport Community Schools is seeking a part-time Food Service Server/Dishwasher at Shetler Elementary in Fruitport, MI. The role supports food preparation, serving, cleaning, and basic POS operations under the Head Cook.

Hours are 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with duties and production records aligned to federal guidelines. The position requires a high school diploma; prior quantity food service and computer experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Previous quantity food service experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Participates in the preparation and serving of food.
• Participates in cleaning of kitchen and related areas.
• Performs sanitation procedures.
• Operates 3 compartment sinks and washes pots and pans.
• Operates point of sale computer register and makes change.
• Counts money and completes daily sales reports.
• Inspects all equipment in the cafeteria area to ensure it is in safe, working condition, and notifies the head cook when repairs are needed.
• Maintains records on food and supplies received and used.
• Maintains accurate production records conforming to federal/department guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Head Cook.
