Job summary

Fruitport Community Schools is seeking a Food Service Server/Dishwasher for SHETTLER ELEMENTARY. The position runs from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with duties including food preparation, serving, cleaning, sanitation, and POS cash handling.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma; prior quantity food service experience and computer experience are preferred. Report to the Head Cook under the Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Previous quantity food service experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation and serving of food.
• Participates in cleaning of kitchen and related areas.
• Performs sanitation procedures.
• Operates 3 compartment sinks and washes pots and pans.
• Operates point of sale computer register and makes change.
• Counts money and completes daily sales reports.
• Inspects all equipment in the cafeteria area to ensure it is in safe, working condition, and notifies the head cook when repairs are needed.
• Maintains records on food and supplies received and used.
• Maintains accurate production records conforming to federal/department guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Head Cook.
