Job summary

Fruitport Community Schools in Fruitport, MI, seeks an Instructional Assistant, LRE, at Shettler Elementary. You will support students with disabilities under the Special Education department, assisting with daily living skills and instructional tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising students during buses and activities, helping with materials, and maintaining records. Prior experience with disabilities and PBIS knowledge are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree or successful completion of the WorkKeys.
• Experience with children with disabilities.

• Assist teacher with preparation of materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher.
• Knowledge of and ability to implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
