Hearty Helpings, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform a wide range of duties in food preparation and packaging across various service environments.

You will assist in preparing hot and cold dishes, salads, bakery items, and beverages, while ensuring clean work areas and proper handling of materials. Responsibilities include setting up lines, operating prep equipment, and following safety standards.

Formación

• Read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Operate cooking and food preparation equipment safely.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
• Pay close attention to details to ensure quality.
• Stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare or assist in hot and cold dishes, beverages, salads, sandwiches, and bakery items as required.
• Set up food lines and maintain correct temperatures and utensils.
• Assist with food preparation and operate equipment to complete tasks.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure quality service.
• Identify spoiled or unattractive food and defective supplies or equipment.
• Assist in other commissary areas as needed by management.
• Support mission work including community distribution when required.
