Job summary

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lead a team and work independently
• Willingness to obtain Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications
• ServeSafe certification or ability to complete course
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy and minimal supervision
• Physical ability to move and position products in coolers/freezers
• Ability to stand up to nine hours per shift
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and shift reports
• Willingness to learn new concepts and use store technology
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers; provide fast, friendly service and handle complaints
• Promote sales using suggestive selling techniques
• Prepare food following guidelines and ensure proper temperatures and freshness
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage; monitor equipment and inventory
• Supervise store food service programs; train and schedule staff
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members
• Collaborate with management on evaluations and staff development
• Assist with recruiting, training, and promoting teamwork
• Operate POS systems; generate shift reports and manage cash, waste, and records
• Adhere to all company policies and store operations
