Job summary

Southeast Missouri Residential Services (SEMORS) in Sikeston, MO, seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee meal preparation and train direct care staff, ensuring diet orders are followed and safety standards are met.

The role supports individuals in the program with meals, adheres to dietary textures, and maintains accurate records. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours coverage and limited travel for meetings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4+ years of food service experience.
• Experience supervising food service operations.
• Ability to train and oversee direct care staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the preparation and serving of food; train and oversee direct care staff in meal preparation, including special diets.
• Coordinate and audit meals; monitor food supplies and supplements to follow Dr. diet orders.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation; inspect kitchens and dining areas for safety and hygiene.
• Prepare requisitions for food and supplies; maintain records and place orders for the Food Distribution Center.
• Assist in QA/QE monitoring and meal observations; perform other duties as assigned.
