AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Food Preparation Coordinator in California to oversee breakfast, lunch, home meals, snacks and special events, guiding kitchen staff to meet all standards for receiving, storing, preparing, serving and disposal of food.

The role requires a Food Protection Manager cert (or within 90 days), 2+ years of foodservice experience (elderly care preferred) and a valid BLS. Compensation is hourly with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision,

• Food Protection Manager cert required or within 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred depending on site demographics.
• 2 years’ foodservice experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly in community/healthcare settings preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership/management in foodservice preferred.
• Valid BLS certification or higher required per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all food services: breakfast, lunch, home meals, snacks and events.
• Oversee daily kitchen staff duties to ensure proper receiving, storage, preparation, service and disposal per standards.
• Maintain CACFP records and comply with internal policies and regulatory guidance.
