Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Food Preparation Coordinator to oversee all food services, including breakfasts, lunches, home meals, and event catering across sites.

You will manage kitchen staff to ensure safe handling, storage and service of food while maintaining CACFP records and following applicable policies. Ideal candidates hold a Food Protection Manager certificate or are prepared to obtain one within 90 days of hire; bilingual abilities are preferred depending on site

Qualifications

• Food Protection Manager certificate or equivalent required/within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all food services including breakfast and lunch, home meals, center snacks and events.
• Oversee daily kitchen staff duties to ensure proper receiving, storing, preparation, serving, and disposal of food.
• Maintain CACFP compliance records and adhere to internal policies and regulatory guidance.
