AltaMed seeks a Food Preparation Coordinator in California to oversee breakfast and lunch operations, home meals, and special events while leading kitchen staff. You will ensure proper handling, storage and service of foods in line with CACFP and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidates have a Food Protection Manager certificate, 2+ years of foodservice experience, and bilingual abilities. A valid BLS certification is required or must be obtained.

Formación

• Food Protection Manager certificate required or to be obtained within 90 days.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred depending on site.
• Minimum 2 years’ foodservice experience preferred.
• Experience serving the elderly in community/healthcare settings preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of leading or managing foodservice operations preferred.
• Valid BLS certification following AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all food services including breakfast, lunch, home meals, snacks and events.
• Oversee daily kitchen staff to ensure proper receiving, storing and serving per standards.
• Maintain CACFP compliance records and other regulatory documentation.
