Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a full-time Foodservice Specialist in Shakopee, MN. You will act as the food category expert, lead in-store training, and ensure proper food safety practices and stock rotation to maximize sales and minimize waste.

You will train associates on food execution, production, replenishment, and customer service, while managing sampling events and collaborating with BUQAS for ongoing training programs. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods retail and/or Foodservice industry.
• Experience in training, leadership, team building.
• Skills in collaboration, cooperation, communication and organization.
• Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or NRFSP) required.
• Strong communication in English; French skills in Quebec are a plus.
• Customer service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as food category expert in store and ensure proper execution to maximize sales and reduce waste.
• Train and coach store associates on food execution, replenishment, organization, sanitation, and customer service.
• Be the go-to person for food products and services questions in-store.
• Plan and execute food sampling for employees and customers.
• Lead in-store training for new Foodservice programs and refresher sessions.
• Monitor FIFO stock rotation and ensure food safety practices.
