Job summary

The Food Service Assistant Manager role at Nouria Energy Corporation focuses on maximizing food service sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and upholding quality and safety standards at the Waterboro location. Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification a plus
• Proven work experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or similar role in food service
• Proven customer service experience, with track record for problem solving.
• Proficient food and beverage knowledge
• Computer literate
• Strong motivational and people skills
• Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot minor problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of Food Service Areas including Made to Order Food, Commissary Food, Bakery, and Dispensed Beverage
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
• Train new and current employees on customer service practices
• Enforce all company procedures and protocols
• Provide the best customer experience to every customer
• Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting
• Suggest possible purchases to customers and promote specials
• Assume full responsibility for the execution of Nouria’s customer service program at the site level
• Maintain safety and security of the store and document accidents or incidents
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
• Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program
• Report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses
• Complete new employee safety orientation for all staff
• Inspect stores for hazards and initiate corrective action
• Encourage safe practices and quick return to work for supervised employees
