Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker in a Missouri location to assist with food preparation, portioning, and serving. You will learn on the job under supervision, support station setup and breakdown, maintain temperatures, and ensure quality.

• Food service experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items.
• Inside kitchen environment with heated equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Responsible for portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management to items not meeting quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and address feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean work station and sanitize utensils.
• Dispose of waste from the service line accurately.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Support safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in areas as needed.
• Able to work in concessions, catering, and special events.
• Perform tasks as requested by supervisor/manager.
