Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification is required.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Physical ability for lifting and transporting hot food items.
• Ability to work in a kitchen with heated equipment, steam, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in the preparation of food items for the day.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management to items not meeting quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers at the serving line and handle feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain clean work stations and sanitize utensils and surfaces.
• Dispose of waste accurately from the service line.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train across areas as needed.
• Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
