Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers in a fast-paced environment. You will learn on the job under supervision, develop practical skills, and contribute to a positive dining experience for patrons.

Responsibilities include maintaining portion accuracy, logging temperatures, and ensuring clean, sanitary work areas. You will support concessions, catering, and events as needed, collaborating with the team to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting and transporting hot food items expected.
• Work in kitchen areas with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management and pull items not meeting quality standards.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and solicit feedback on service quality.
• Keep work stations clean and sanitized; manage waste disposal.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas; use carts as needed.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards to management.
• Cross-train as needed; support concessions, catering, and events.
