Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker to assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers. You will learn on the job with guidance from your manager while staying organized, focused, and accountable with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting/transporting hot food items.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setup and breakdown of stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management to items not meeting quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and handle feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean workstation and sanitized utensils.
• Dispose of waste accurately from the service line.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Report safety hazards to management.
