Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker Lead at Union City Community Corrections Center in Kentucky. The role supervises inmates to ensure meals and food items are prepared according to production plans, trains workers, and coordinates activities to promote efficient operations.

You will ensure sanitation and personal safety in accordance with standards and regulations. The position involves leading food preparation, station setup/breakdown, portion control, temperature logging, and customer

Qualifications

• Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification.
• Food Service Experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items.
• Interact with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Greet customers as they approach and leave the serving line.
• Ensure timely and effective service of the customers.
• Lead and advise employees working on the line to ensure quality service.
• Maintain a clean work station and sanitation.
• Assist with daily safety observations.
