Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Director of Food Service to oversee meal preparation, dietary planning, and sanitation across kitchen and dining areas. The role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with FDA/USDA regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a Safe Food Manager certification, experience supervising large teams, and strong computer skills for ordering platforms and reporting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations regarding food practices and handling.
• Current Safe Food Manager certificate a plus.
• Two years of progressive and relevant experience.
• Experience cooking for large groups (50+).
• Experience supervising and managing staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menus and recipes and oversee production according to sanitation and quality standards.
• Ensure the kitchen and food service areas are clean, safe, and compliant with codes.
• Schedule staff to meet budgeted labor and service levels.
• Order food and supplies, manage inventory and vendor relations.
• Maintain kitchen and dining areas and equipment; ensure safety and sanitation.
• Recruit, train, and manage dietary staff and supervise daily activities.
