Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to lead a single-site operation inside a correctional facility, overseeing kitchen activities and a team including an Assistant Food Service Director and cooks.

You will manage operational and financial responsibilities, ensure safety and sanitation, and report to the District Manager. Weekend/holiday hours apply, with a schedule from Wednesday to Saturday, 8am–6 (6:30)pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in food service.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Experience applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Basic accounting and math skills for reporting.
• Prefer experience in institutional food service or restaurant settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per site plan.
• Hire, orient, train, and take corrective action with team.
• Review payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure training of staff on safety and job responsibilities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and planning for menus.
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitation compliance.
• Maintain product quality and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health Department codes and inspections.
• Maintain ServSafe Manager certification.
• Other duties as needed by site management.
