Job summary

Elior School Dining is seeking a motivated food service director to lead a school dining team and manage all aspects of the department to ensure meals are served timely and safely.

You will hire and train staff, ensure culinary, safety and sanitation standards, and collaborate with district leadership to meet budgets and forecast targets, while delivering excellent service to students, faculty, and clients.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service director to our School Dining team. As a food service director, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that students, faculty and clients never miss a meal.

What you’ll be doing:

Compensation Range

Up to $73,000
